Jessica

Jessica Carter, CRSW, Executive Director

My name is Jess and I am the Executive Director here at Revive.  Growing up in a household with substance use disorder and other health problems, I quickly developed a sense that I was destined to help others. I graduated from Nashua High School North in 2006 and went on to study Nursing at Fairfield University where I played Division 1 Lacrosse.  I started at Revive as the State's first publicly funded "Recovery Coach" position to work hand in hand with the City of Nashua's Safe Station program and I was privileged with the task of meeting individuals in Respite and getting them connected with other recovery related resources.

My role has since changed as I have been blessed with the opportunity to learn and grow with the organization for 6 years now.  I am currently Chair of the New Hampshire Harm Reduction Coalition and also the President of the New Hampshire Providers Association.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family.  My husband and I have two young boys who are full of energy and we spend any free time playing football, fishing, boating, going to the beach, skiing/snowboarding and this year I started helping to coach my oldest son's Lacrosse team.

Priscilla Matos, Director of Operations

Priscilla Matos, Director of Operations

Priscilla is the Director of Operations at Revive. She believes fully in Revive's mission and vision, because it worked in her life. She began her journey as a participant and quickly became a volunteer, serving two years in the Americorps program.  Revive has been a continuous growing experience. She has operated as an outreach worker for the Syringe Service Alliance of the Nashua Area, has worked with multiple treatment courts as a Peer specialist, and continues to fight for the rights of people who use substances.

Harm Reduction and equality are embedded in the ways she provides services to the communities she serves. She is a CRSW, and uses her experience to help others build recovery capital. She does this in many ways, including peer work and being a facilitator for a variety of topics, such as the Art and Science of Peer  Assisted Recovery, various Parenting Programs, Youth Alternative Peer Groups, and Recovery Coaching, a Harm Reduction Pathway. She has provided, and helped in the development of, Narcan training, as well as training and development of outreach workers for the  SSANA program.

Marshall

Marshall Wood, CRSW, Criminal Justice Program Manager

Marshall is the Criminal Justice Program Manager at Revive, as well as the center manager for Revive’s Nashua location.  Knowing first hand the difficulty of navigating the judicial system, while also trying to embark on a pathway of recovery, Marshall aspires to help illuminate the way for others by utilizing his lived experience as a person in recovery.  Marshall sits on the team as peer support for the Hillsborough County South Adult Recovery Court Program.

Marshall has been with Revive for almost 4 years now, and has been able to acquire his CRSW, as well as his license to supervise other CRSWs in the community.   Marshall trains other peer support specialists so that they can provide the best service possible, and also eventually acquire their CRSWs.  He has also begun to facilitate an alternative peer group for youths, hoping to help others potentially avoid some of the struggles that he faced, and develop a life worth living.

Helen

Helen Quattrochi, Derry Center Manager

I Started to volunteer at Revive in 2018 and saw the work that was being done there and behind the scenes so when the opportunity presented itself last year for a job opportunity I wanted to help.  Having worked in the medical field for 36 years this is a different field for me. Excited to be part of a team helping people in the community and learning something new each day.

Sarah Childress, Peer Recovery Support Specialist

Sarah Childress, Peer Recovery Support Specialist

I am a person in Long term recovery and first came to revive as a participant. Through growth and learning I am now able to be of service to my peers. My goal in this work is to give compassionate and caring support through peer relationships for the betterment of our community.

By developing tools for self advocacy, identification of needs, and emphasizing the importance of self care, as well as considering the very unique aspects of each individual and their chosen path, I can honor each participant’s strengths and empower them to choose their own way of recovery.

I will always be a passionate voice for those of us who are in need of services.

I ensure a trauma-informed space and I uphold inclusivity to all.

Lewis E Hastings, Care Coordinator

Lewis E Hastings, Care Coordinator

I have been in recovery for numerous years and had begun my journey back in 1994 where I finally surrendered and became willing to change. This change has brought about many new and sometimes overwhelming paths to recovery and means towards abstinence in my recovery life.

Within my journey, I have been fortunate to work and continue to work in Human Services for nearly 30 years. I started as an adult foster parent to a direct professional worker, a coordinator, and a case manager in a winding field that continues to grow as the years pass.

I continue to look towards the future in my personal recovery path with a range of projects around being an author and writer of several published books on ‘Recover and Beyond’.

Carolyn Kraus, Peer Support Specialist

Carolyn Kraus, Peer Support Specialist

My journey with Revive began working as an intern and turned into a position as a Peer Support Specialist. I instantly felt a strong sense of connection and purpose being able to be a part of this amazing community. As a person in long term recovery, I have personal experience with substance use disorder, and the biggest thing I wish I had when navigating my own recovery was a place like Revive to come to.

At Revive, each individual matters, and is cared for as the human being that they are. I am so proud to be someone that is working to change the narrative surrounding the stigmas of this disease.  With a bachelor's degree in art and a passion for creativity, I found my true calling in helping others heal and deal with life's challenges. As a single mother I bring empathy, understanding, and organizational skills to the forefront of my work. My journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to supporting individuals in overcoming addiction and fostering resilience. I strive to create safe spaces for growth, healing, and transformation.

Clayton Svendberg, Harm Reduction Coordinator

Clayton Svendberg, Harm Reduction Coordinator

My name is Clayton and I am a person in recovery. I first stepped into Revive while attending a meeting early in my journey and sensed it was a special place. The fact that Revive is there for the community of those suffering from SUD is what drew me into seeking employment.

It feels as though we are for the people, and there to help the individual in their journey to wholeness and health in their life in recovery. I believe strongly in harm reduction and I find the work we do very fulfilling.

Lisa Vallier, Outreach Coordinator

In 2018, I made the life-changing decision to do whatever it took to create a better future for myself and my children. It wasn’t easy, but I knew that real change required commitment, accountability, and the willingness to accept help. Over the course of a year and a half, I allowed others to support me, hold me accountable, and guide me through the steps I needed to take. Because of that, I was able to reunite with my children and build the stable, loving home they deserved.

Since then, I have dedicated my life to helping others who are on a similar journey. I’ve worked in the recovery field as a Recovery Support Specialist and a Recovery Case Manager. I also worked as a Family Support Partner, walking alongside parents as they work toward reunification with their children. I understand firsthand how difficult the process can be, but I also know how rewarding it is to come out on the other side stronger and more resilient.

Now, I have the incredible opportunity to be part of one of the places that once helped me, a place that gave me hope! It is an honor to give back to the community that gave me a second chance and to support others as they take steps toward healing, recovery, and rebuilding their families, all while meeting them where they are at. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing humans regain hope, and confidence and the chance for parents to be with their children again. I am living proof that change is possible, and I am beyond grateful to help others achieve it, too!

Aida Davila, Peer Recovery Support Specialist

"I currently work at Revive as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist. As my journey to wellness developed, I became increasingly passionate about providing competent and respectful care to others. When I discovered Revive I was eager to be a part of this team as I strongly stand behind the goals and mission of this organization.

I began my career with a degree in Paralegal Studies and decided to refocus toward the community. I began working closely with underserved populations at our local shelters, warming stations and assisted in the organization of a grassroot non-profit to provide aid for DV and SA survivors. In addition, I also worked in rehabilitation as a Case Manager, Group Facilitator, and Recovery Support Specialist. These experiences have led me to gain a multitude of knowledge and insight that I am able to use everyday at Revive.

As a proud Nashua local and humanitarian, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to work for Revive in the heart of the city and fulfill our mission to support the wellness of others and provide the community with a center to seek aid, guidance, and support in one’s chosen path to recovery and wellness."
